By accessing or using Foontro (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. Foontro is a freelance marketplace that connects clients with verified freelancers for project-based work.

1. Eligibility

• Users must be at least 18 years old to register.
• All information provided during signup must be accurate and up to date.
• Foontro reserves the right to verify, approve, suspend, or remove profiles at its discretion.

2. Accounts & Verification

• Freelancers may be required to submit portfolios, work samples, or documents for verification.
• A “Verified” badge is granted only after internal review and can be revoked if misuse or false information is found.
• Clients and freelancers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts.

3. How Payments Work

Foontro follows a transparent and escrow-based payment system:

1. Clients make full payment for a project through Foontro.
2. The payment is securely held by Foontro until the project is completed.
3. Once the client confirms completion (or as per platform rules), payment is released to the freelancer.

Foontro does not support off-platform payments. Any attempt to bypass the platform may result in account suspension.

4. Platform Fees & Charges

Foontro charges a 12% platform fee on each completed order.

This 12% includes:

• 10% Foontro service fee
• 2% payment gateway & processing charges

Example: If a client pays ₹10,000 for a project, Foontro charges additionally ₹1,200 as platform/gateway fees, and the remaining amount is released to the freelancer.

5. Disputes & Resolutions

• Foontro may assist in resolving disputes, but does not guarantee outcomes.
• Decisions made by Foontro regarding disputes are final and binding.
• Foontro is not responsible for the quality, legality, or delivery of freelance work.

6. Marketplace Disclaimer

Foontro acts solely as a technology platform and intermediary that connects clients with freelancers. Foontro is not an employer, agent, partner, or contractor of any user. All agreements, communication, and deliverables are strictly between the client and the freelancer.
